Maths Badge Buildings

Use Of 3d Shapes In Buildings

Many shapes have been used in buildings eg: cuboid, pyramids and cubes.
They can be in weird shapes or in normal shapes. The Egyptians used 3d
shapes to make the pyramids. Buildings will sometimes layer shapes on top
of shapes. They were used to make some of your favorite landmarks eg: Big
Ben, Pyramids Of Giza and Lighthouse Of Alexandria. 

Square-based pyramids, cuboids, hexagons, pentagons and octagons are
some weird shapes to use in buildings. The pentagon is a building in the
shape of a pentagon. The other shapes can be used to decorate different
buildings. Now in modern days there can be shapes in shapes or going
through shapes for buildings.
